Arguably what most of the other characters in Stiles' canon when first asked to describe him is likely to be "Talkative." With more or less that same emphasis. It's a facet of his overall inclination towards hyperactivity in general - there are multiple references to Stiles having ADHD, particularly earlier in the show - and while he behaves like someone who pretty much has it under control by now, he does still lean towards the over-reactive side of things than not. He flails, he's hilarious when he's startled, and it's obvious when the gang encounters a new problem that his brain is racing through multiple scenarios and he's pretty much reacting to all of them.
Despite that, Stiles actually manages to frequently come up with the plans, or connect the dots. It's also brought up that he actually has very good grades, and perhaps it's an element of trying to keep himself on task but constantly being distracted or attracted to other things that allows him to figure out so much of the supernatural bullshit he and Scott & co. all find themselves dealing with. Stiles doesn't mind pouring into research - part of growing up with a cop for a father, with whom he is very close, and it's that relationship that has given him the kind of mental structuring one might expect from someone constantly trying to figure things out. Similarly, he tends to have a somewhat more discerning nature than Scott when it comes to just believing things at face value.
It's likely tied into his being more or less the only baseline human among their group of friends, but Stiles also manages to be relatively cautious, or at least attempt to be prepared. While he knows he doesn't want to become anything more than what he is, he's also very aware that he's a totally normal guy living in a very abnormal world now, and he can feel in over his head sometimes. This leads to a little panic, leads to a little more over-reaction, leads to some interesting decisions. Thankfully, he's not the kind of person who (usually) minds receiving help from others, which is likely why he's remained so functional bc otherwise goddamn.
Finally, Stiles loves to joke. He loves to make weird references, or chide people when they deserve it, but mostly he just likes to alleviate tension. Stiles and tension go together like rubber bands and water - it's fine at first, but the longer it lasts the less good it is after the rubber band has dried out. It'll become all brittle and fall apart. He doesn't like tension between his friends, in his own relationships, or in its manifestation of anxiety between himself and whatever it is he's currently worried about. It's a distinct difference in his ability to handle stress and how he winds up reacting to things that cause more.
First impression:
While accustomed to running into Some Weird Shit Dudeā¢, Stiles has never actually been taken out of his own setting (as of this initial canon point, anyway). To say he'll handle that gracefully is to say that you've... never met Stiles. He does almost nothing gracefully, even when he's actively accepting or attempting it. And all this - he won't disbelieve it, but he'll be likely to try and poke holes in the idea, because illusions and trickery can totally happen; he might just be stuck in like. Derek's backyard because Derek thinks it's amusing - who knows. Ultimately, he'll likely wind up just attempting to discover anything he can, like a true detective would. There's a change he'll become a little obsessed with the process, but that depends on how specific elements develop.
Also the lack of a day/night is just going to... Man, it's just going to fuck him up. He'll wind up going until he absolutely has to crash, and then he'll crash hard. Circadian rhythm? What's a cicadan rhythm? (ngl this in turn will likely begin to quickly influence his ability to stay on task until he can figure out a solution, as regular schedules are a very good thing for people with ADHD.)
Also woo! Already sixteen my dudes.
Under pressure:
Normally Stiles is motivated almost equally by a desire to do whatever he can to protect his friends, to figure out whatever weird-ass mystery it is they're dealing with this time, and to prove himself useful despite having no preternatural abilities. The lattermost is perhaps the least, but it is still a motivating factor, especially since Stiles never shows any interest in becoming anything beyond what he is. Without his friends here, he'll likely switch almost entirely into either straight up trying to figure the place/new setting out, or a combination of figuring it out and helping whomever he runs across in whatever way he can. Within reason. A Stiles under pressure is a Stiles more or less constantly Ready to Fuckin' Go Man so. In all honesty it's a little difficult to know how he'll react to most things, but I can safely guarantee some stupid impulsiveness mixed with a bit of ridiculous over-planning.
Powers, abilities, & companions:
Stiles has no preternatural abilities himself, although by now he is familiar with several kinds of beings in general that exist for 97% of the world only in books, so there's that.
Aside from that lacking, Stiles is very good at finding and compiling information, and moreover actually being able to recall it at necessary moments. He's a diligent researcher, despite his attention issues and likely as a result of being so close with his dad, and he's also very good at figuring out how to dispense the information he finds in a way that makes sense to those he's giving it to, when they need it. He'll wind up being very interested in figuring how how everything works here, because 1. it's alien and therefore fascinating even if it isn't real; and 2. how is he supposed to figure out anything going on if he doesn't even understand the computers?
That said, while his critical thinking and application are good, he's demonstrated little to no technological abilities beyond the average teenager growing up in the 2010s, so. His next best skill is automotive repair, and even that is... Well it's sort of on par with learning how to fix car engines by reading a book about boat engines and just sort of rolling with them being the same thing.

Inventory:
Normal teenager clothes, plus hoodie, wallet (seven dollars, loyalty stamp cards for a sandwich place and an ice cream shop, ID, library card, school ID card, health insurance card, coupon for the movie theater, receipt for something he meant to return four months ago, note to self that's now illegible, and a bandaid), cell phone that probably won't do shit here except let him play the games on it until it dies, some change in his pocket, and a bunch of random pieces of paper in his pockets for some reason. And a very old packet of gum in one of the hoodie pockets.
